Tuesday, April 14th - AM Deep in the heart of a sun-dappled glade, a single, magnificent toadstool stands tall, its vibrant crimson cap dappled with snowy white spots like fallen stars. This is a place where imagination takes root and creativity begins to bloom. In this whimsical painting workshop, children are invited to step away from the everyday and into a world of pure colour and fairytale charm. We will guide our young artists through the magical process of bringing this forest floor scene to life, starting with the sturdy, golden-hued stalk and building up to that iconic, bold red cap. The air will be filled with the soft sound of paint brushes as students learn to layer glowing yellows, vibrant purples and gradients of greens to create a miniature meadow at the mushroom's feet. From the thick, confident outlines to the playful polka dots, every child will explore the joy of illustrative art in a supportive and cheerful environment. Whether they are seasoned little painters or picking up a brush for the first time, every participant will leave with a masterpiece that captures the quiet magic of the woods. It’s more than just an art class; it’s an afternoon of storytelling through colour, where every brushstroke helps a tiny, enchanted world grow. General workshop notes: As the session is 2.5 hours long, students will probably want to bring a water bottle and a snack to enjoy mid-session, to keep them sustained. It is also a good idea to send your child in clothes that they do not mind getting paint on, just in case! Don't forget: If you book both sessions in one day, you get the lunch hour for free!
