Thursday, April 17th - AM In the words of Taylor Swift, get ready to 'Shake it Off' with this super-cute dog painting! In this fun and energetic class, students will learn how to capture the dynamic movement of a dog shaking off water, using acrylic paints. We'll explore techniques for creating texture and capturing the wet, splattering effect of water droplets. Our experienced instructor will guide students through the process, starting with sketching the dog's form and then moving on to layering acrylic paints to bring the scene to life. We'll experiment with different brushstrokes and colour mixing to depict the dog's fur, the splashing water, and the joyful energy of the moment. Get ready to flick, splatter and drip paint to create this wonderful artwork that you'll love hanging on your wall to enjoy! General workshop notes: As the session is 2.5 hours long, students will probably want to bring a water bottle and a snack to enjoy mid-session, to keep them sustained. It is also a good idea to send your child in clothes that they do not mind getting paint on, just in case! Don't forget: If you book both sessions in one day, you get the lunch hour for free!
