Thursday, July 10th - AM Get ready to create the coolest creature on the block in our sparkling Mixed-Media Penguin workshop! This is your chance to make a truly dazzling and unique penguin that shimmers and shines! We'll start by sketching our adorable penguin friend, then dive into a world of textures and colours! You'll get to experiment with soft, blendable pastels to create snowy scenes and feathered details, and add dramatic touches with charcoal. Then, we'll bring our penguins to life with vibrant paints, adding splashes of colour and depth. The best part? We'll make our penguins truly sparkle by adding glistening glitter and dazzling gems to give them a truly special, one-of-a-kind look! This workshop is perfect for artists who love to explore different art materials, get creative with textures, and make something truly unique and eye-catching. All materials are supplied, just bring your imagination and get ready to design your very own adorable arctic friend! General workshop notes: As the session is 2.5 hours long, students will probably want to bring a water bottle and a snack to enjoy mid-session, to keep them sustained. It is also a good idea to send your child in clothes that they do not mind getting paint on, just in case! Don't forget: If you book both sessions in one day, you get the lunch hour for free!
