Friday, April 17th - PM Step into a world of tactile wonder with our Magic Clay Forest Floor workshop! This high-energy session invites young creators to swap their brushes for sculpting tools as they build a vibrant, three-dimensional ecosystem on a circular canvas. Participants will learn the art of "painting with clay," using their hands to press and blend a bright yellow sky and lush green meadow into the background. The real magic happens as we sculpt the stars of the forest floor: iconic red-capped toadstools with tiny white spots and textured stems. To bring our miniature world to life, kids will mold intricate garden friends, including a spotted ladybug and a crawling beetle, tucked among hand-veined leaves and blades of grass. It is a fantastic way for children to develop fine motor skills and spatial awareness while creating a whimsical piece of art that literally pops off the page! As always, students have the option to change the piece however they like, be that colours, flora or fauna! General workshop notes: As the session is 2.5 hours long, students will probably want to bring a water bottle and a snack to enjoy mid-session, to keep them sustained. It is also a good idea to send your child in clothes that they do not mind getting paint on, just in case! Don't forget: If you book both sessions in one day, you get the lunch hour for free!
