Wednesday, April 8th - AM Bring the magic of the farmyard to life in our latest creative session! Perfect for budding artists, this workshop focuses on the warmth of spring and the cozy bond between a hen and her chick. In this fun, step-by-step class, children will explore texture (by learning how to use "dabbing" brush techniques to create fluffy feathers and a prickly straw nest); Play with colour (by mixing sunny yellows, earthy browns and poppy reds to make their artwork stand out), then master details (by adding the finishing touches - from those tiny eyelashes to the delicate willow branches overhead!) Whether they are seasoned painters or picking up a brush for the first time, every child will leave with a masterpiece that's "cluck-tastic" enough to frame! General workshop notes: As the session is 2.5 hours long, students will probably want to bring a water bottle and a snack to enjoy mid-session, to keep them sustained. It is also a good idea to send your child in clothes that they do not mind getting paint on, just in case! Don't forget: If you book both sessions in one day, you get the lunch hour for free!
